The essays published by Botanica Brasilis investigate cultivation as a temporal condition through writing.

They explore the same conceptual field as the paintings while remaining independent from them, examining how cultivation shapes living forms, artistic making and perception. Individual artworks are not interpreted or explained. Each essay develops its own line of enquiry through reflection and language.
