These terms outline the general conditions governing access to and engagement with the work of Botanica Brasilis. They apply to the use of this website and to the acquisition of artworks directly through the studio.

Use of this website

All texts, images, and content published on this website are provided for information and reference. While care is taken to ensure accuracy, details may evolve as the practice develops. The studio reserves the right to update or revise content at any time.

Artwork information

Each work is produced individually through a process-based textile practice. Variations in tone, surface, weave, and material behaviour are inherent to linen and pigment and form part of the character of the work. Such variations are not defects but integral aspects of the medium.

Dimensions, colours, and details may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings.

Acquisition of works

Original works are available directly through the studio. Availability may change as works are placed with collectors or institutions.

Enquiries regarding acquisition, commissions, or placements are handled individually. Confirmation of an acquisition is made in writing between the studio and the collector or institution.

As each work is unique and produced individually, acquisitions are generally considered final. Where applicable under European Union consumer regulations, statutory rights remain unaffected.

Packing and delivery

Works are prepared and dispatched with appropriate care according to their textile format. Shipping methods, timelines, and related information are outlined on the Shipping & Delivery page.

Condition and returns

As each work is original and produced individually, acquisitions are generally considered final.

If a work arrives damaged in transit or presents a significant discrepancy from the agreed description, the studio should be notified promptly so that appropriate arrangements can be made with the carrier or discussed directly.

Questions or concerns regarding a received work are addressed on an individual basis. The studio aims to resolve any issues fairly and professionally in dialogue with the collector.

Copyright and reproduction

All artworks, texts, and images remain the intellectual property of Botanica Brasilis unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Acquisition of a work does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

Images or content from this website may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Requests for publication, press, or academic use are welcome and should be directed to the studio.

Care and handling

Textile works are made from natural fibres and should be handled with consideration. Guidance on display and care can be provided upon request.

The studio is not responsible for damage resulting from improper installation, handling, or environmental conditions after delivery.
